What is DEVOUR?
To celebrate 20 years of Tesco Finest, Tesco has partnered with experimental food duo Bompas & Parr to create
ĎDEVOUR - the exhibition you can eat by Tesco Finestí.

DEVOUR is an immersive, multi-sensory event that fuses the worlds of food, art, design and theatre to create an adventure for all the senses.

The exhibition will allow food lovers to embark on a journey of exceptional taste discoveries, travelling through six different experiences that take the concept of tasting menu to a new, fully sensorial and interactive level, bringing to life the lengths Tesco Finest goes to in order to ensure the best quality food and drink.

Is DEVOUR suitable for children?
No, unfortunately DEVOUR is not suitable for children and entry is only possible for those aged 18 and over.

Do I require I.D?
There will be alcohol at the event so you will need to bring your ID to verify your age if you look under 25.

When can I visit DEVOUR?
DEVOUR will be running for a limited time only, open from Thursday 11th - Saturday 14th October 2018. The event will run from 12pm - 8pm each day, with discoveries starting every 20 minutes. Please ensure you arrive 10 minutes before your allocated time slot.

Where can I find DEVOUR?
DEVOUR will be held at Kachette in Shoreditch - 347 Old St, London EC1V 9LP.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before your starting allocated slot time.

If you are late and miss your slot, you will not be allowed entry and we are not be able to guarantee you departing with a later group as this will depend on space on the day.

What if Iím running late?
If youíre running late and unable to arrive 10 minutes before your allocated discovery departure, please let a member of the DEVOUR team know by emailing tescodevour@bartleboglehegarty.com and we will try our best to accommodate a later departure for you.

Please note that each discovery is limited to six people and for that reason, we might not be able to accommodate a later departure for you.

What time do the experiences start?
Discoveries will commence every 20 minutes between 12 and 8pm. Please ensure you arrive no later than 10 minutes before your allocated discovery departure. Latecomers may be refused entry.

How do I get there?
DEVOUR will be held at Kachette in Shoreditch - 347 Old St, London EC1V 9LP.

You can reach DEVOUR via a number of close tube and national rail stations. Shoreditch High Street station is just a 6 minute walk away, Old Street 8 minutes and Liverpool Street Station 14 minutes.

Alternatively DEVOUR can also be reached by the following buses towards Shoreditch;
26, 48, 55, 242, 243



What if I have dietary requirements?
Vegetarian and vegan options will be available throughout DEVOUR though unfortunately, we are not able to cater for other dietary requirements or allergies. All ingredients will be listed throughout the entire exhibition but if you do suffer from any severe allergies then please do contact tescodevour@bartleboglehegarty.com beforehand or speak to a member of staff upon arrival.

Do I need a ticket to attend DEVOUR?-
Yes, you will need a ticket for entry into DEVOUR. Tickets are free and slots can be reserved in advance at tesco.com/devour.

Once purchased, your ticket will be emailed to you so please do check you enter the correct email address. Please bring your ticket with you to be scanned and grant you access to DEVOUR.

We will accept walk ins for any slots not reserved, though please note, group sizes are limited, and we cannot guarantee entry for walk ins.

Do you offer group bookings?
We are unable to accommodate large group bookings. Due to the limited number of tickets available, bookings are restricted to three tickets per booking.

Iíve pre-ordered my ticket but canít make it. What do I do?
If you are unable to make your allocated time slot then please email tescodevour@bartleboglehegarty.com and we will release your ticket and slot. Tickets are free and you are more than welcome to another time slot.

Iíve reserved a ticket online, but I havenít received an email. What do I do?
Please check your junk or spam folders to ensure the email has not been filed into either of those folders. If you still have not received your ticket confirmation, then please email tescodevour@bartleboglehegarty.com with details of your booking.

Can I transfer my ticket?
Yes. Tickets will be emailed to the email address provided during the booking process, however if you are unable to attend and want to give your ticket to someone else then all you will need to do is†give your ticket to them†and ensure they bring†the ticket to show on arrival.

A ticket will grant one person access to DEVOUR. †

Is there an audio guide?
An expert host will be present in each room during your multi-sensorial DEVOUR experience and will help guide you through the journey. You will also be given a booklet that will explain each roomís theme.

How long will it take to walk around the exhibition?
We estimate that it will take around 1 hour to experience all six rooms at DEVOUR. There will be a gift shop at the end for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Are there special effects?
Yes, please be aware that DEVOUR will have special effects that will include flashing and strobe lighting. If you have any concerns or if anyone in your group has photosensitive epilepsy, please speak to a member of staff before entering the exhibition or email us beforehand at tescodevour@bartleboglehegarty.com to discuss any concerns.

Can I take photographs inside the exhibition?
Yes, we encourage you to take photographs inside DEVOUR and post to your heartís content!

Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, DEVOUR will provide a cloakroom where you can leave your belongings before entering the exhibition.

Are there toilet facilities?
Yes, Devour will have male, female and disabled toilets, which will be available to use before and after the experience.

Will there be a gift shop?
Yes, DEVOUR will have a gift shop at the end of the exhibition which will stock a variety of Tesco Finest products for you to take away and continue your taste journey at home.

Will cards be accepted?
Tickets for DEVOUR are free and can be reserved in advance via tesco.com/devour.
However, DEVOUR will have a gift shop which will accept card payments through debit and credit card.

Is there somewhere I can buy food and drink?
DEVOUR is an immersive tasting exhibition with food and drink being provided throughout. You will also be able to buy a selection of Tesco Finest food and drink in the DEVOUR gift shop at the end.

Will there be disabled access available?
Yes Devour is fully accessible to all visitors, with disabled access and toilet facilities.
